SHADOW DANCE - THE STORY OF SHADOWS

Human’s amazing imagination and creative body movement make it hard to tell apart shapes, shadow and digital effect. Invented a long time a ago, shadow dancing brings back childhood memory as we created shapes with candles or flashlight when the electricity is cut, or tribal dancing ceremony around campfire with the shadow reflected on the cave.

In our event, after the journey of connecting, brainstorming ideas together and practicing, 3 performances will be presented by 30 disabled participants telling their own stories with the guidance and coaching from Mat Tran Ensemble.

Each performance is a real life story, surrounding our 30 characters. All the struggling thoughts, the misery, the dream and hope will be revealed for the first time to the audience.

Come to our event to open your heart, listening to the stories told by the darkness, the light, the music, and the soul.
