Japanese Doll Festival - Hina Matsuri

In celebration of International Women's Day on March 8th at Hanoi city: "Japanese Doll Festival - Hina Matsuri"

In celebration of International Women's Day on March 8th and as part of the series of activities commemorating 50 years of Vietnam-Japan diplomatic relations, the Vietnam Women's Museum, in collaboration with Ikebaba House, will organize the "Japanese Doll Festival - Hina Matsuri" as a meaningful gift for women worldwide in the month of March.

The event will take place over three days, from March 3rd to March 5th, 2023 at the Vietnam Women's Museum - 36 Ly Thuong Kiet, Hanoi.

The event aims to expand cultural exchange and promote the beauty of Japanese culture, strengthen the friendship between the two countries, and promises to bring the public exciting experience activities such as:

  • Admire the traditional Hina doll collection of Japan.
  • Admire the national costume of Japan - Kimono and Ikebana flower arrangement art.
  • Participate in experience activities such as wearing Yukata, Ikebana flower arrangement, making traditional Wagashi - Nerikiri cakes, folding Origami paper, and enjoying Japanese Tea Ceremony.

The "Japanese Doll Festival - Hina Matsuri" is a greeting from the Vietnam Women's Museum and Ikebana House, wishing happiness to every family in the spring of love.

The event is open for free admission.
