The Hanoi Open Go tournament 2023

DONG! DONG! DONG!

The first shot of 2023 might have been fired somewhere else, but the first grand Go tournament of 2023 will take place here.

As the name suggests, the Hanoi Open Go Tournament this year is open to all players to come and play on visible boards, giant dragons, and classic time-thrilling wins.

• DETAILS ABOUT THE GO TOURNAMENT

1. Time: March 4-5, 2022

2. Venue: Trinh Hoai Duc Sports Hall (12 Trinh Hoai Duc, Cat Linh, Dong Da, Hanoi)

3. Rules and regulations:

• Playing time: 30 minutes + 30s x3 byomi on 19x19 board

• Level of play: from 15kyu - 5dan

• Number of participants: up to 100 players

• Competition format: divided into 4 groups according to level of play, scoring according to Swiss system

The Hanoi Open Go Tournament is organized by the Youth Club, eagerly welcoming all players to participate, test their skills, and immerse themselves in their passion with other Go enthusiasts from all over Northern Vietnam.
