Painter Doan Ngoc Vung was born in 1987 in Nam Dinh, Vietnam. He graduated from the Faculty of Fine Arts Pedagogy at Saigon University, Ho Chi Minh City. He studied at Ho Chi Minh City University of Fine Arts and graduated from Amarda Studio as an animation director. He created his own style called Vurgo style of Vietnamese fine arts.
