Motorcycle mass accumulation and traffic be translated into artistic work?
Lara Jaecks shows all of her current artistic works which have been created in Vietnam by traditional procedures of graphic art (etching, woodcut, lithography, etc.).
Her artworks are influenced by daily experiences and impressions of this country. She is dealing with different topics that have occupied her thoughts:
+ The daily working life at a small fishing village in central Vietnam.
+ Diversity and contrast between the Vietnamese city and countryside.
+ Significant people (particularly old women) with their unique charm.
+ The special relationship between Vietnamese nude models.
A bigger part of the exhibition will deal with the massive consumption of plastic bags in Hanoi. Traces are captured and preserved. Smallest structures become visible!
