Within the framework of the 45th anniversary of Italy-Vietnam diplomatic relations and building on the remarkable success of last year’s Italy-ASEAN Week, the Embassy of Italy in Hanoi has finalized a rich and multifaceted calendar of events aimed at showcasing the best of the Italian lifestyle, or in our words "Vivere all Italiana", to bring Italy closer than ever to the Vietnamese public. Our ambitious program will last from November 2 to November 11 and will incorporate many activities pertaining to the “3rd Week of the Italian Cuisine in the World”.

TIMELINE
1. Wine tasting “Sentiero diVino ‒ Valpolicella”: on November 2 Casa Italia, the center for the promotion of Italian cultural and entrepreneurial excellence, will host a tasting of some of the best wines from Valpolicella area (by Nicoli's wine producer).
2. Lecture at the Diplomatic Academy on the 45th anniversary of Italy-Vietnam diplomatic relations: on November 6 the Ambassador of Italy, H.E. Cecilia Piccioni, will give a lecture at the Diplomatic Academy of Vietnam on the 45th anniversary of Italy-Vietnam diplomatic relations, which is being celebrated this year. It will be a perfect opportunity to recall the remarkable achievements in a wide range of areas of cooperation over the past few years
3. Seminar on scientific cooperation: on November 7, following the success of last year’s first conference on bilateral cooperation in the scientific and technological field, we will hold a seminar at Casa Italia on the ongoing joint research projects and on satellite technology in particular. It will be attended by representatives from Politecnico di Torino and Hanoi University of Science and Technology.
4. Gala dinner: on November 8 the Ambassador of Italy, H.E. Cecilia Piccioni, will host at her Residence an exclusive gala dinner featuring some of the most renowned gastronomical “creations” by celebrated Italian chef Enrico De Martino, thus offering a special glimpse of the extraordinary diversity of Italian gastronomy.
5. “Italian Cultural Fair / Piazza Italia”: on November 10 and 11, the prestigious Hanoi Imperial Citadel will be turned into an Italian square (“Piazza Italia”) specially designed to take the public along an extraordinary path featuring: booths for Italian food & wine tasting (with the participation of the Italian gastronomical champions in Hanoi), exhibitions of Italian design creations (by the main Italian companies operating in Vietnam and by Vietnamese partners), many diverse musical performances (with diva Hong Nhung & Italian and Vietnamese opera singers), sports activities (the youngest will be offered a special chance to play football coached by a selected number of trainers from Juventus F.C. Academy, as well as volleyball, badminton and đá cầu), funny entertainment (karaoke contest, “tombola” game and many activities specifically designed for kids).
