With commited mission as a link to connect traditional cultural values, GIỮ will organise a “Wood cut printing workshop” under the instruction from Artist Kien Linh. The workshop is open to everyone! This is a good chance to understand more about some of traditional crafts in the most friendly and creative way.
With the guidance of artist Kien Linh, everyone can complete a wood cut painting by themselves. Together with GIỮ, you can relax and experience art to balance a hustle life and to feel wonderful things that are happening around you.
WHAT WILL YOU HAVE AT “Wood cut printing workshop”?
+ Get familiar with a set of wood carving chisels
+ Have a chance to learn about traditional wood cut printing technique
+ Practice and accomplish a wood cut printing picture to bring home.
WHO CAN JOIN?
Anyone from the age of 10! We also welcome foreigners (a translator available)
INTRODUCTION ABOUT THE INSTRUCTOR: Artist Kien Linh is a professional lacquer painter, graduated from Hanoi University of Industrial Art. He is a creative artist who loves children, is passionate about tinkering craft products and has a great interest in traditional craft villages. He is also a game facilitator who loves to travel and design games for young kids to play with a wish to be immortally young and to be together with others to sow beautiful seeds for the world.
